Flexible work hours, excellent product, good training program. Most customers are great. Would be best for a secondary income, since it is straight commission and sales may not be consistent.

Cons

Lack of support from franchise management, poor communication, verbally abusive management style, inconsistent sales tools, overworked support staff.

Great company culture. Franchise owned so dependent on your specific area, but ours was like a family. There were about 40 of us total. Leaders were extremely motivating and great mentors.

Cons

My job required specific hours as well as working nights, weekends and holidays.

Pros

California Closets provides good training to their employees. All employees work hard and take pride in their work.

Cons

Very little pay for employees with no bonuses. Managers favored the sales team over other departments (however, this is not unusual in may businesses). Employees who worked the Costco Roadshow were forced to stand all day and were strongly discouraged from taking lunch breaks. Gas was never reimbursed for Costco roadshows or sales teams. Employees had to pay for each cup of coffee.
