no room for salary negotiation, just accept whatever the raise company thinks of you lots of competition and politics between workers for email exposures on tasks

CAISO does a great service to the state of California and the greater western United States. They go out of their way to compensate you fairly, both through salary and time.

Cons

Can be a little stressful at times, especially during the summer months, but that is when you learn a lot and your work becomes even more meaningful.
