Pros

If you happen to start at the right branch, you will do well. If you start at a struggling branch, you have a 30% chance staying with the company in my opinion.

Cons

Some of the upper management is not very smart, this causes staffing issues, money order issues, many issues, and the entire company is micromanaged more than I have seen in any company I have worked for.

Hey there, thanks so much for giving us some feedback! Since we've rebranded ourselves from PSCU we've taken all of the feedback into account and have applied it. We send out employee survey's every quarter to take into account what our family members are saying. Thanks again for taking the time to let us know some of the things we needed to work on!

Pros

The pay is decent enoughamd you get to wear jeans. But

Cons

They are rude. They are. Very clicky. I made it 90 days and started going to my car to cry week 2. I wasnt trained on a certain part of my job, then got written up for getting it wrong. I never felt supported. At my brnach it was 3 on 1 manager meetings. You could never tell the Branch manager your issues eith the other managers. They make you cold call their members. I worked during the pandemic and had to Id people in masks. I felt unsafe and was berated every single day by members and not a single manager cared. Every one i know has now left. They only gave the tellers 2 chairs between the 8 or 7 of us. They are horrible to new people. Worked at a credit union for 5 years prior and this is like working at a bank. Worst job i ever had and i worked fast food

Thank you for your feedback. We strive to create a unique culture that is family-oriented and where everyone feels like they belong. We regularly welcome and strive to learn from feedback from our employees through surveys, round table discussions, the People Support team, and the Ethics Point Hotline. We recognize the pandemic was tough, particularly for those serving in branches. During this time, we came together as a family to support members while carefully following CDC and local health guidelines. Safety and wellness are among our top priorities, and requiring proper identification provides protection for members and CanFam alike.
