Thank you for your feedback – so glad to hear that you enjoy working at CapTech so much! CapTech is a family and, like any family, we all have different opinions when it comes to politics, but we strive to be respectful of each other’s views. In the interview you are referring to, our CEO was specifically asked about the Trump Presidency – just as he would have been asked if another candidate had been elected. As Kevin said, CapTech’s strategy continues to be “taking care of our clients and making CapTech a great place to work…regardless of the political environment.” At CapTech, regardless of our individual political ideals, I think we can all agree that our ability to deliver out services directly to our clients across the country helps sets us apart from competitors. - Joanna Bergeron, Chief Talent Officer

Pros

Worked with many great people with amazing skills, knowledge and personalities. Most management is down to earth. It's easy to "drink the Koolaid" because the majority of those who work there are all about the company and it's growth and success.

Cons

There was a running joke that if you make the "100%" club you were doing it wrong. And to a degree that's true. If your client required extra work for the job then you do what you have to do. But to praise those who didn't find a work/life balance in a company that supposedly supports and touts it seems backward. Better staffing, BD, and Sales promises are necessary. Interpersonal relationships. Often times, as you could find in other establishments, you work with people and become comfortable with the nature of the work relationship that you don't realize that people don't really have your back or support you. Saw a lot on the consulting side, but also internally. If someone doesn't like you or your work, it clouds everything.

Thanks for your feedback. We’re glad to hear that you found your co-workers so talented! We hope the positive relationships you built remain with you throughout your career. I’m sorry to hear that the 100% Club was frustrating for you. At CapTech, we believe work-life balance to be paramount and appreciate the diverse interests of all our employees and work hard to celebrate all of their accomplishments – at work and outside of work. When an employee goes above and beyond for a client and it impacts their personal time, we want to recognize that effort and show our appreciation. Our staffing teams monitor hours and utilization carefully and our goal is hands on involvement and support when client demands exceed our 40 hour Statements of Work. I appreciate your feedback on manager-to-peer relationships. We are moving to a culture of coaching to encourage real-time feedback both ways. -Joanna Bergeron, Chief Talent Officer

Pros

- Work with smart people - Work on interesting projects - Some flexibility with scheduling depending upon client assignment - Research and training is greatly encouraged for personal and client development

Cons

Benefits could be improved. This tech company seems to be behind the times versus other newer tech companies when it comes to benefits such as parental leave policy, healthy free snacks, etc.
