      Great Work and Greater People

      Pros

      The people: these are the smartest coworkers I've ever encountered. They are supportive both in and outside the workplace. The work: people are dedicated to pushing back on the client if they're pondering a decision that won't serve them in the long run. The client relationships: CapTech provides so much more than top notch consulting, the team also cares deeply about the people and clients we work with.

      Cons

      Work can go in ebbs and flows, and there is high attention to hitting consulting hours. But the teams always encourage taking PTO so that we can refresh and reset.

      Great if you land on a good team

      Pros

      When it's great, it's great! There are many smart, thoughtful colleagues and leaders that many are fortunate to work with. The highest levels of leadership are awesome and peer level colleagues often become friends in addition to great mentors and sources of growth. It's wonderful being around talented individuals all day every day.

      Cons

      When it's bad, it's awful. Some senior and mid-level managers tend to pass the puck, manage with great inconsistency, and neglect to coach in meaningful ways. It's difficult to feel safe when managers are moving targets. Weak managers impact team performance, but often it's the team that gets blamed.
