Pros

There are genuinely good people at the consultant level.

Cons

- Leadership choices and promotions are based off of favoritism. - Projects are not consulting, and are more staff augmentation. - Lack of diversity in leadership. - Out of touch leadership: When the country grapples with race issues, the company chose to sponsor four Caucasian PGA golfers

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m sorry to hear about your extreme disappointment. Our CapTechers, core values, community impact, and clients are our topmost priorities. Many times, we have an incredible opportunity to make an impact in all of these areas within just one project. PGA is one example. The multiple opportunities for innovative technology and impactful support to local communities are the reason behind our PGA sponsorship and involvement in the golf industry --not race, ethnicity, or colors of skin. You are welcome to learn more by visiting the sponsorships page on our website (https://www.captechconsulting.com/pga-sponsorships). Please also feel free to reach out to me directly at kapostolides@captechconsulting.com. I’m happy to answer any questions and clear up the misinformation about our Great Lakes region (Chicago and Columbus offices) and internal departments. –Katy Apostolides, HR Director

Pros

Great people throughout the organization, especially from upper management (Director) on down, who are engaged and desire strong personal connection.

Cons

Strong lack of resources dedicated to organizational leadership of people and operations - what made for a lead small company is now introducing challenges as they continue to scale. Leadership lacks transparency and struggles to make connection to workforce, provide true people leadership, and operate from a place of collaboration and teamwork.

Pros

- nice and talented people work here

Cons

Management is the biggest issue here. The ones that get promoted are usually the ones that has some kind of connection to the higher up. If you are looking for a regular 9 to 5 job, then this isn't it. They have good compensation and benefits but the downside is you could be working 50 to 60 hours each week.

Thank you for taking the time to post your review, and for being part of the CapTech team. CapTech promotes a positive work-life balance and career growth experience. That said, I could see how the experience in under a year could bring you to a different conclusion, especially depending upon the client work to which you were assigned. Occasionally, consultants need to go above and beyond to meet their client’s needs. In addition, promotions typically take place after 2-to-3 years in a role. We are sorry your time with us was short and you didn’t have the CapTech experience we wish for our employees. Thank you, again, for sharing your feedback. -- Katy Apostolides, HR Director
