Pros

- They'll hire almost anyone, especially if you're coming right out of college. - Benefits are alright for a starter job.

Cons

- Performance is based on how many projects you are working on, but you cannot join projects on your own, you can only wait for them to have availability to assign one to you (only the case in Houston office). - Raises are not easy to get even though they say it is. The raises are do get are negligible - Mid level consultants are overworked and taken advantage of without appropriate compensation - Training after the 2 weeks orientation is laughable because they do not have dedicated trainers, just overworked mid level consultants who are juggling training and their many other projects. - Instead of allocating consultants to projects equally, they will put one or a few people on a project to do the work of many. This causes an imbalance with overworked consultants on projects and consultants who are not doing anything "on the bench" - They'll lay you off / fire you in a heartbeat. After laying people off, employees remaining are left struggling and even more overworked. Recruiting for new young employees (with lower salaries) continue, and the cycle persists.

Pros

- New office stocked with snacks

Cons

- Boxed in to position with no relevance to education or original job offer due to lack of people in the department - Time theft: Capgemini gives hours of mandatory training that you are either supposed to do during the time you are billing the client or on your own time outside of work unpaid - Cog in the machine: because this is a global company, it's difficult to get answers on most topics. Half the company doesn't respond to their emails and the other half reference you to ask someone else. Very much feel like none of the work I do matters and no one at my company really knows me

Pros

they dont even deserve a single star

Cons

If someone one wants to ruin their career in USA join Capgemini. They are just a big body shop hirng people on H1B visas and don't care about the documentation and you may lose your visa anytime. They just want to onboard people and do not care about it afterwards. Not much growth and indian work ethics which has totally ruined the company. They wont let you upgrade the visa to premium so that you cant move to another company and will file your extension at end moment so that you remain stuck and they get mx billing until they screw your visa.
