Pros
Management cares about people and thinks through decisions in a meaningful way. Recent layoffs were completed with compassion while looking out for business.
Cons
Narcissistic middle managers get ahead by stepping on others, deflecting and not following through on tasks consistently and pushing work onto “underlings” on the team. I don’t know how this person keeps getting promoted when she displays narcissistic behavior behind the scenes in private (HR never did anything about her bullying and my manager explained it away). “Underlings” who work with her never get asked to provide feedback, so she gets assigned exciting projects while others aren’t provided the same opportunity. It’s sad that we have to wait for karma to take its course.
