Capital Group reviews

It's changed in recent years and it's more of a top-down management style now. It doesn't always feel like doing the right thing, but rather the quick thing or even "because I said so." Also, it doesn't always feel like there is room to grow. People stay because of the comp and the culture is still better than a lot of other places, but upward mobility is a challenge. Sadly, diversity is not a priority, in spite of some changes in 2020. It's clear that Capital is not committed to advancing DE&I within its own leadership team, manager level and above, or within the portfolio managers/analysts.

Management is out of touch. There's a lot of politics, you have to play the game to get promoted. They often make you feel like just another cog.
