Pros

In house cafeteria, pay well as a contractor.

Cons

Company does not have any values. Manager like to hire they own people (Indian) Discrimination. They differentiate between contractor and fulltime employee, and will look down on you. I would not recommend anyone coming here.

Pros

Company sponsored retirement plan that contributes 15%; generous vacation, education benefits. Two annual bonuses, NAV purchases on American Funds mutual funds

Cons

Painfully slow career development - in some instances, 10+ years before being placed in a supervisory position. Went on a hiring freeze from 2008-2011, but now that business has picked up since the Financial Crisis, mgmt is scrambling to keep up with hiring needs. Historically deliberate in decision making, the organization has been making technological and operational "enhancements" at an increased pace over the last several years. Many of these updates have resulted in system interruptions and other issues that should have been caught in testing.

Pros

After a month at this company, I was amazed at how professional and respectful everyone was... a refreshing change after working at a Fortune 500 firm where managers had unrealistic expectations and bad tempers. My CG colleagues were intelligent, friendly, and fair-minded. No corporate backstabbing, very little gossip, and the most unpretentious, down-to-earth executive management I've ever met... the grandson of the company's founder had the same size office as the other managers! Great benefits, smart people, nice offices, good coffee.

Cons

Our department chronically struggled with work-life balance, managing an ever-growing workload and often not adequately staffed. Career advancement is not a clear-cut path and growth opportunities were sometimes difficult to find.
