      Decent place to work. Changes needed.

      Pros

      Capital has a decent work life balance. There are plenty of opportunities for growth and everyone's input is valued. Capital Group provides excellent benefits. The work environment is very positive and the facilities themselves are great.

      Cons

      Management takes FOREVER to make a decision. There are way too many long time employees that contribute nothing of value to the company. Management is not the brightest. Some of the decisions that are made certainly leave you scratching your head. There is an unnecessarily high level of secrecy around a lot of communicatons. The pay compared to other similar jobs in the industry is not up to par.

      Pros

      If you are on an H1B visa, it's great to work for CG as a contractor. You can get great experience at some technology, even if the technology is being misused.

      Cons

      As someone else mentioned, the auditing restrictions has brought productivity down to near zero. Plus all projects have been put on hold since the cutbacks. I've been bored silly for the last few weeks. Not that there's much interesting to do there anyway.

      Co-workers are easy to work with and generally interested in doing a good job.

      Cons

      Inefficient processes; tiered employees (investment people and then the rest), collaboration has been confused with consensus
