Good Pay, Good Benefits, Bad Software
Pros
- Pay >= industry standards. - Good benefits, vacation, retirement, insurance, etc. - Good work life balance.
Cons
- This company does not want to build software, they hire engineers, but it feels more for the publicity as opposed to the output. - Management has no interest in creating anything and all of the interest in maintaining the status quo, at the expense of throwing away completed projects. - Politics wins over ideas every time, this is the place for tell don't show. - If you want to build something interesting and learn along the way this is not the place for you. If you want to kick your feet up, cash the paycheck, and live your life, more power to you, this will be a great fit. - Everything is a process, sometimes 3 processes that contradict each other.
