Pros

Commitment to the mission of serving people on Medicaid and their caregivers in their homes underscores every thing the company does. Super-dedicated staff in the field. Smart leadership who are helping the company focus. The company struggles -- usually successfully -- with balancing its commitment to the mission with achieving its business goals. People are genuinely nice and want to do the right thing. Relatively low bureaucracy.

Cons

Benefits are average at best. No tuition reimbursement. Good 401K with a match. There are too many projects going on that are sapping people's energy. While each project may have merit, people are feeling overwhelmed.

No holidays. They say you make your own schedule, which is kind-of true. But, they don't tell you how overwhelmed you'll be with your caseload, the visits, the documentation, chasing down Caregiver's, that you'll end up working over the 40 hours/week you were hired for. So, yes, you might be able to run your child to a doctor's appointment, but you'll also be up working a 4:00 am to make up for it.

Cons

Very disorganized, the company values quantity of quality, taking on too many cases without having the staff to properly manage those cases. They rush the intake teams to start services before they really have a clear picture of the Consumer and Caregiver, causing problems down the road for the Ongoing teams.

Energetic, fun group of people who are passionate about the business of supporting caregivers

Cons

Too slow to recognize really poor leaders who should not be in VP and above roles. There were people in roles who had no business leading people, demonstrating serious bullying behavior.
