Pros

Huge Potential, great product and great people.

Cons

The CEO doesn't know anything about freight. Is fixated on running a "tech" company, but at the end of the day you're moving freight through a platform. Lack of knowledge directed sales people in the wrong direction selling deals for losses. Be more involved and hire people that know what they are doing. Left job to work here only to get laid off weeks later along with 50+ other people. Startups are always risky but this was just downright wrong. When you are moving loads for $6 profit (if that) you are not going to last long.

Pros

Salary is above industry standard. Great health, vision, and dental benefits 401k match Remote work

Cons

Toxic work environment: Everyone from executives have visibility to customer emails then management and executives hop on meetings without you to basically criticize without adding any constructive feedback or helping anything!! Unorganized onboarding process: There’s no cohesive onboarding process. Sales sells and then billing gets set up and we start moving shipments. SOPs are weak or bare depending on which sales/acct manager is handling the acct. This kind of disorganization leads to mistakes that are all blamed on operations for “not knowing”. Onboarding calls are without the person running the acct so you’re literally working on an acct blindly. Zero boundaries: Everyone is asking operations for a million things on top of day to day duties. Operations handles both carrier and customer communication even tho there’s a whole carrier team where we can delegate communication and work. Acct managers and sales responding to emails to tell us what to do. It’s literally the definition of too many cooks in the kitchen. Emails upon emails on why is this that way, why haven’t you done this, please do this, etc. No work life balance: You are almost expected to respond to emails after hours. The workload is so heavy you can’t ask for help because other people have heavy workload as well. It’s beyond overwhelming and not normal. Everyone is overworked and tired but no one listens. “Tech company” might as well be called the Theranos of logistics: Barely any automation. Everything is manual work. Reports that should be automated are all done manually. Updates that should be automated are not. There are NO tools to make your life easier. We have no visibility to products in the pipeline. No idea on what’s being innovated. No business perks: No commission, no extra business perks like discounts on car rental companies or anything which is why they pay so much salary wise.

You Can Do Better

Pros

After working here, working for minimum wage at Walmart doesn’t seem so bad

Cons

Poor management! Nobody knows what they are doing or how to make a start up company successful. All day everyday is just chaos and disorder. The amount of employees playing games on their computers and cell phones or taking 2-3 hour breaks randomly throughout the day while shipments are being missed and drivers are missing pick ups is unfathomable. Don’t work here no matter how desperate, you’d be better off fidget spinning on the boardwalk for tips, and you’d probably be a lot happier and more successful too. Horrible company run by horrible people. It was a horrible experience. Best thing I ever could have done was quit!
