No Communication at any level, especially from District Managers- Managers, I assume Senior Management is just as confused/lacking in communication. No clear path for promotion, kind of a joke when it comes to going for it. No incentive to move up to a store manager for current employees thats why they always hire outside people for the job and also is why there is such a high turnover for store managers. No life/work balance for managers, seeing that is depressing for the rest of the team and discouraging to move up within the company. Wish it was better, especially when it comes to living up to the values/mission statement they put out.

No breaks (how is that even legal). Caribou claims that if someone needs a break they can take one but there should be a time if someone is working over 6 hours that they can take a break and not get called back to work if it's busy. Understaffed - got many customer complaints about not being taken care of because of the low staff numbers. DMs are hit or miss - you either get a really good one or a really bad one. It's hard to want to work when you only hear negative things about your store. There needs to be more constructive criticism, not negative criticism. Management has favorites and sticks to them like glue. Far too much work and not enough pay.
