Cons

Manager spread too thin- manages too many clinics Manager very hostile at staff meetings- never positive Manager saying she is manager of doctors also Favoritism and nepotism runs amuck here Too much drama among certain staff members in this department- bring home issues to work. Pay is below average Benefits are better at other dental clinics Manager falls asleep in her office

Pros

Lots of opportunity for career growth, both clinical and administrative. Competitive salaries. They off child care discounts and flexible savings plans. My department is very encouraging of advancement and continuing education. Open forum for employee ideas and concerns. Great sense of community.

Cons

Short-term disability policy for Non-physician staff is only 2 weeks, after 30 days of own leave. Health insurance is pricey, considering we are a hospital it's not one of the best plans. Pay to park downtown (walk is about a block), or park at Community Hospital and take trolley to the CASB building.
