      Pros

      I've been at Carriage for six months now and I am amazed at the real opportunities provided to employees to make a meaningful impact on the business. Feels good to be empowered. Nice not to have so many layers to deal with - not all the "red tape" that I am used to.

      Nothing at this point - I'm experiencing everything that I was told in the interview process.

      Employee health insurance, vision, dental, 401k Overtime pay The staff I worked with was helpful and encouraged each other

      Extremely poor management styles Management was not qualified for their positions Management encouraged bad behavior and dishonest practices. Favored certain employees.

      Pros

      There is a company HR department so you are able to report to someone other than your immediate manager.

      Cons

      Not much oversight of Managing Partners, they are basically allowed to do anything they want without repercussion.
