      Tedious work, but flexible

      Pros

      Nice schedule and management. They seemed to only want the best for their employees. Good support to get the training you need to excel at your position. This office is closed as far as I know.

      Cons

      The environment could've been a little cleaner. The floors were stained and nasty. Some training were unnecessarily mandatory. Pay was quite low. The company laid off the entire office over a year period.

      Pros

      Education benefits, core contingent of professionals who are hanging on for the pension. Acquisitions were good choices, although the integration of these companies was horribly managed.

      Cons

      Poor leadership, lack of empowerment, lack of investment in business outside of acquired companies. Carrier has to buy its way into markets with more innovative, faster moving companies and then bogs them down, or "Carrier-izes" them. As an employee you feel like you're supposed to operate as a paranoid, underpaid robot while watching customers get infuriated and flee en masse.

      Pros

      UTC owns it, and they'll pay 100% tuition for any major you want including mater's and PHDs even if it's not work related. And you don't have to sign any agreements to stay for a certain amount of time once the courses are finished.

      Cons

      Not great health insurance...not great raises for hourly either...2-4% per year with no bonuses.
