Pros

Lots of opportunities for their hectic environment. Java is no where, just PHP on every layer.

Cons

Lots of data to process in PHP on the middle tier (agghhhh). People are fun but some are more affraid of others than necessary. Lots of inappropriate sexual parties. Drinking and buzz and later the night sex offers. Discussing.

Pros

Cartera's people are great; but it feels like we're all wasting our career time working here.

Cons

Business model seems to be broken. I can't stand the constant layoffs - being a survivor of these rounds of surprise force reductions means I'm doing twice the work as when I was hired, yet I receive no bonuses as Cartera fails to achieve its company goals year after year. They set some unrealistic goals and then claim they have failed. Everything small task is life threatening important. One of the director, there, thinks, she/he has got all the authority to insult people. But, he gets promotion and people who for him/her gets laid off.
