Unstable management, need to start over, need to recognize those that actually work, and get those that sit in heavy equipment with their weed gone. Guess the mentality is until someone gets seriously hurt, or worse-dead, then they'll do something! Could've been a good place to work, if the place worked....wonder if John Casella is aware these issues???

Strong position for success as economy improves. Lots of opportunities for people willing to work hard. Company has good reputation in community and front-line employees take care of customers.

Cons

Some departments are led by old-guard senior managers who are out of touch with the industry. Safety culture is strong locally, but safety managers are not helpful or effective. Compensation is good, but benefits are only average.
