Pros

Greate opportunity to gain experience or side work

Cons

No room for growth beyond a Site Coordinator if you have career ambitions and they only pay for units applied toward the field, so you can't achieve or complete a degree program.

Pros

Benefits, pay, personal growth, materials for teaching provided.

Cons

Depending on what site you work at, you may or may not have adequate time to prep for lessons, and you may end up doing other's job responsibilities. It may be difficult to stay in ratio. The employees may gossip a lot. Supervisors may play favorites.

It's great to hear that you found value in the benefits, pay, and opportunities for personal growth, as well as having access to materials for teaching. Supporting educators with the resources they need is a key priority. Concerns about site consistency, workload distribution, and maintaining ratios are important, and your suggestions provide thoughtful insights into potential improvements. Leadership is continuously working on ways to enhance fairness, communication, and operational efficiency across all locations. Ideas such as structured role clarity, better ratio tracking, and additional support during critical times are actively being explored. Creating a positive and collaborative work environment remains a focus, and strengthening team relationships through better communication and leadership engagement is a priority. Supporting families is a core part of our mission, and it's great to hear that this aspect stood out to you. Providing quality care and education requires a dedicated team, and we recognize the importance of ensuring staff feel valued and supported. We understand that flexibility and compensation are key concerns. We are actively reviewing ways to improve work-life balance and pay structures to remain competitive and better support our educators. Efforts to address these areas continue to be a priority.
