Pros

Overtime you get to understand the children and their needs which makes teaching easier.

Cons

There was only one person who had my back and it was a fellow employee. You tell the person in charge something and flies over their head. Very rude and doesn’t believe a word you say.

Pros

nothing positive to say about this company

Cons

upper management will never be seen, and HR is only available online. headquarters is about 25 miles away from me. I went a couple of times and requested to get my mileage reimbursed & it was been a good 6 months and I still have not received any check yet. also took some college classes that are also supposed to be reimbursed and nothing. a lot of other promises were made, and have management has yet to pull through

Pros

Catalyst is a great place for college students who want to build their experience working with children. If students major in Education, Child Development, or any counseling, or social studies. The company offers part-time and full-time positions. It also has a substitute team that allows students to change their schedule every semester or quarter to meet their school schedule. The company offers ongoing online and in-person training. Great support structure for staff to grow and learn.

Cons

Some centers are state-funded under Title 5 and require staff to have Early Child Development units to fulfill the state requirement
