Upper Management is often reactive and slow to adopt proactive practices; new benefits hours are rolled into "Extended Illness" bank that can't be used for time off, nor easily recovered as time off (only can be sold back once per year), tradition of catering to MDs rather than collaborative (with nursing safety concerns). Often feels like an unnecessarily stressful environment d/t staff dissatisfaction and high turnover. Leadership seems unable to solve some basic problems with team morale.
