Pros

--Flexible work schedule --Relaxed atmosphere --Not much supervision (if you consider that to be a pro)

Cons

--Hard work is not rewarded --Abuse of the "variable" employee position --Upper management pretends to care, but they don't --Very poor morale among workers --Care more about buying more equipment than promoting "variable" workers to full-time --Micromanagement

Pros

The pay and easy work load.

Cons

If management doesn’t like you they’ll make sure you never advance. They’ll also make it seem like you have a hard time grasping the information when they just gatekeep it from you. You’ll get into trouble for the same things everyone else in there gets away with. You’ll also get in trouble if you don’t know something cause someone told you wrong or waited til after you got in trouble to say something. The boss believes management without giving it a second thought. The two oldest ladies in the call center room are disciples of the day time team lead & report everything back to her (there’s one on day shift then the others on night shift). They all talk about each other and former employees (I’ve heard of over several people I’ve never met). They’ll make you feel like an outcast then wonder why you don’t want to talk to them. They lack emotional intelligence so if you’re having a bad day you have to remind them it has nothing to do with them (but they claim to care about mental health). It seems like HR just gives you the run around as well so someone should investigate that whole location cause there’s an alliance in there that’ll get you fired. They literally waited til their former employee was coming back to fire me the week prior. Dirty and low down but karma misses no one, sanctified & all.. even if it means skipping you & going to your loved ones instead. God don’t like ugly.

Pros

The work that is being done is really important for new medications. There are a lot of people here that really want to enjoy the company as well as their people they work with. School reimbursement is really nice too. Outside of the really bad management, its a great company. Its a shame because I would have stayed longer. Its a stable company financially and has a great reputation with pharmaceutical companies. I trust the clinical side that works with study participants.

Cons

Most Directors, Executive Directors, VP's all the way to the CEO are really smart educated people but bad leaders. Most of these people have only worked here their whole career. They think they know everything about every department just because they know it all. They spend millions on a whim because someone knows someone else who knows what we should be doing. Then when that doesn't work, do the same thing again with another person or company. You're either an insider or an outsider. Staff salaries are shameful. Health benefits are embarrassing. Morale is awful. People are either complacent and brag about not having enough work. People who are working hard are also looking for new jobs outside. There is no communication about Executives that just walk out after 10+ years, or a Great Job team email, or holiday thank you email. The President never acknowledges staff, avoids going into the offices to even speak to employees. HR teams bad mouth employees in public. Management talks bad about each other. Lack of strong leadership all around.
