Pros

Good medical experience and the people that you work with makes coming to work worth it.

Cons

Poor management and team leads that lack communication skills. Management will put blame on you for mistakes that could be prevented during proper training.

Pros

This role may be a good fit for young students or recent grads transitioning into the workforce. It’s simple, low-pressure, and doesn’t present many challenges, making it a decent starting point for gaining basic job experience.

Cons

My experience in this role was deeply disappointing. Despite being a dedicated and capable employee, I was consistently overlooked and slighted by management who allowed personal relationships to influence professional decisions. This resulted in an unfair and often hostile work environment where favoritism was rampant and objectivity was lacking. I made multiple complaints to HR in hopes of resolving the issues, but unfortunately, nothing was addressed in a meaningful way. Instead, after advocating for myself and speaking up about the bullying and exclusion I faced, I was further shut out by my direct supervisor and several higher-ups. What made this especially difficult was experiencing a form of equality shock — it became clear that ageism may have played a part in how I was treated, contributing to a toxic and unwelcoming culture. Ultimately, I chose to leave the company to preserve my well-being. I hope future leadership takes steps to foster a more inclusive and fair workplace where concerns are heard and addressed without bias.
