Pros

Flexible work schedule for variable position Ability to gain experience easily in patient care Wonderful coworkers (most in their 20s) No micromanaging Easy to call out if needed

Cons

No or nearly impossible internal movement as a CCA Incredibly incompetent management Low pay for the workload The more sign offs the more work while having the same pay Overworked team leads and overworked CCOs but most upper management doesn't do anything Understaffed because of how badly they treat CCAs Some problematic participants are kept on studies No yearly review with yearly raise (random raises occur with random standards) Has above average turnover rate and does not care about CCA retention which means loss of CCAs with specialized sign offs They NEVER listen to CCA concerns and will lie to you that they've never been brought up certain concerns despite the fact that CCAs are honest with their coworkers and have them proofread their emails before sending

Good starting job

Pros

You gain quite a bit of experience in a short amount of time through the many departments that you will interact with. Like most places, coworkers are great but Celerion really tests the limits of teamwork. The fast paced, ever changing clinic schedules will always keep you interested.

Cons

Takes a while to learn internal processes. Can be overwhelming at first as an internal hire as it is automatically expected that you are able to handle more than external hires. Starting pay for external vs internal is the same . Most weeks you will work more than 40 hours a week as it is salaried and study load can be high.

Thank you for your candid review, we appreciate you taking the time to post. We have recently made some changes to the Study Management Dept. and added a new position (Clinical Study Coordinator) that we feel will assist in balancing the workload across the team. Thank you again for your post. Andrew Stringer - Exec. Dir. Global Human Resources
