Pros

The only redeeming quality of this company is the technology is interesting and many of the non-leadership employees are great to work with.

Cons

This is the most volatile, toxic and hostile work environment I've ever worked in. The leadership is incredibly inexperienced and narcissistic which cascades through the ranks in the form of backstabbing and self-serving behaviors. The executive team is completely driving this toxic environment with layoffs which in turn are used as a form of oppression for those left behind, "you should be lucky you still have a job." The recruiting team uses unrealistic and flat out false claims of equity growth/payout for a company that has little hope of successfully going IPO. There is very little diversity with an emphasis on "good ole boy mentality" in the sales org which is given favoritism to any other role in the company. Bullying is the norm for getting things accomplished here, no sense of collaboration or support, especially if someone isn't directly comped on helping you.

Pros

A lot of good people are still hanging around, hoping for an IPO. The product still seems shiny to a lot of customers, even if it running on fumes.

Cons

&Management does not care about employees one bit. Expensive healthcare, broken pay structure and bad wlb. Pay is poor, and stock options are pitiful even for those of us who have been here a long time. People were only offered meaningful raises when they gave their two week notice. All the talk about sustainability is fully marketing driven, and it is painfully obvious that the executives could not care less about the Earth, when so many of the customers are oil companies. Celonis also does not help them become more environmentally conscious, just make more $$$.

Pros

When I first started at this company, it was such a fantastic place to work. The culture was phenomenal, the founders are truly passionate about the company and it was headed in a great direction. The founders are really great.

Cons

This pains me to write, but where do I start. The strategy of the company is ever changing and inconsistent. CRO is all over the place and erratic. They hired a 24 year Oracle vet to lead sales and it has completely destroyed the fantastic culture Celonis had. He came over and hired all white male leadership from Oracle and brought in out dated sales practices that don’t work in a modern sales culture. The compensation for sales professionals is laughable. The amount of equity they give to reps is absolutely unacceptable. The benefits are terrible, I had never paid more out of pocket for healthcare. Leadership is completely out of tune with the how negative the vibe is in sales and how many people are one foot out the door. There are some cracks in the solution itself that need to be resolved quickly, slightly fake it til you make it approach and customers are starting to see through it. It’s interesting that the 5 star reviews are flooding in after a slew of negative ones, seems like they are trying to bury the challenging but very realistic reviews. I no longer felt good about referring people in at the end of my tenure, and a lot of others feel the same.
