Pros

Huge opportunity for global expansion & great passionate people. Vision is fantastic!!!

Cons

Still operating like it's a small company. IT department is one of the worst I've ever seen and maturely level of program/project management and issue resolution ranks at the bottom of the companies I've worked for. No roles and responsibility clearly defined... 5 people doing one job and 1 person doing 5... I also was told that issues are not publicly discussed. As a Program Manager I don't know how to do my job if that is true!

Pros

Once upon a time, employees were carefully chosen and mentored Everyone or no one got a year end bonus so we worked together. Celebrations felt real rather than management throwing a minimal and obligatory bone.

Cons

A manager will spend more time managing a database than employees. And IT employees have quit in droves so the competent ones are gone which makes the problem even worse. Managers are also expected to babysit the children of temps for free on Saturdays. No thanks, I don't want to get sued when one of them gets hurt.

Pros

- Great benefits package with minimal out of pocket expense for employees - A decent understanding of the fact that employees need to have a work/life balance

Cons

- Not supportive of employees or managers - Provides very little recognition for a job well done - Does not provide compensation equivalent to other companies for the same position - Focuses more on retaining counselors (which is a good thing) then working to keep management in their current positions. Management hardly gets recognized and it not eligible for any of the same employee recognition programs. Last I checked managers are employees too and also deserve to be recognized - Job titles mean nothing in this company because a manager could be doing the work of a senior manager but not receiving the same pay that a senior manager does. - Its sad how much the economy has taken a toll on Lash. They used to show appreciation to all employees on a regular basis and that kept the work environment very positive. Ever since they stopped recognizing employees on a regular basis people have been leaving and the compnay atmosphere is never the same. It can be hard sometime to drag yourself into work because you don't feel appreciated.
