Pros

Worked here for a little over a year. I have seen many good things that have happened in this company. CSD prides itself on how they are able to fully support promote from within. This was one of the first things that they told me when I first started. This has been nothing but the truth; I have seen many colleagues and supervisors promoted. CSD believes in investing in its employees so that good talent does not go to waste. I believe that is what makes any company successful.

Cons

Fast growing company is the only concern at the moment. Whether the management and company as a whole will be able to keep the way things are going at such a great pace will be determined through time.

Pros

- Great start for someone who wants to work in the mental health field - Supervision I had was great - I still keep in touch with them - Work with different clients from various backgrounds and functionality within the spectrum - Opportunities for in-home and community settings - Opportunities to learn how to advocate for yourself in difficult situations

Cons

- Never regionalized me, so I drove between three different counties (even when I asked multiple times) - If in a difficult situation, expect to stay there for the expense of the families - it will cost your sanity and burnout (could be up to 6 months before management does anything) - Company will push you to overwork you and it is difficult to acquire any vacation time - Quality of supportive environment quickly changed through the years causing high turn-over rates - They play favoritism, people that receive the opportunities are the ones that are liked - They change their policies every so often, you don't know what you're doing
