Pros

Yes - competitive pay ($18-$22/ hour for Behavior Specialists), paid driving time, paid mileage reimbursement, $25 monthly for toys/gas/etc, $1 for each direct hours you've done after 6 months, 50cents increase after 90 days, and lots of parties - well if you constantly go to your home office - there's food here, food there, food everywhere! Environment - I will not generalize this opinion, but each office has its own unique vibe, aura or dopamine-sensory-placebo effect type of feeling as soon as you enter one (Sacramento, Vallejo, Alameda, San Bruno, Gilroy, and more). But just like any other professional offices, you are expected to act professionally, you can do your lesson plan by yourself or with the help from your supervisor, make your cool PECS, make your own coffee, talk to other highly qualified clinical professionals regarding about schools or anything behavior analytic related, or take some quick break with our bean bags (last time I check I saw one at South bay office or San Bruno). Communication - whether you are behavior specialist, clinical supervisor, and all other upper managements, communication is vital. Personally, I am including this section here in the pros just because its complicated, but I will include one for cons as well. I am a person where I like everything up to date, fast paced but with no flaws, and most importantly an act for solution response implemented asap. Some of my coworkers lack of communication and some dont, but you always have to ask yourself, which one are you? Basically, there's always growth for success in terms of having an effective way to communicate the needs and wants for each employees in this company, and making yourself "part" of a body of a team is helpful, instead of making yourself apart from a solution. You are working in an environment with highly qualified professionals, making yourself one takes responsibility, respect, commitment, compassion and dedication to all the kiddos that we work with. Since I am talking about communication: I just wanted to point out that someone, who previously work with this company, posted a review (maybe 15-25 reviews down) stated that we are asked to give a "good" review for CSD here in glassdoor. Well, there's only one truth with that specific comment and that CSD was asking us to give them a review if we want to. CSD did not ask to give them a "good" review, they just simply emailed us if we can give them a review, and basically if not then its okay. There's no such things as giving them a "good" review for what? There's no bonus or any type of appreciation that will be given out to anyone who post a good review. Like, come on, its 2017, let's cut the negativity out! I am personally doing this review voluntarily with real and no fakes or white lies, just my own personal experience with the company. Moving on... If you need extra hours, your clinical supervisors will always give you one, let say hours to do PECS, admin works such as doing your lesson plan, or meeting your supervisor to talk about your kiddos, or even upper managements might need a hand for anything they needed help with. Always care to ask as well, you're not going get fired for asking a question, again its 2017. Training department will always be there for you if you need ideas to play with your client/s Scheduling department can be bit late some times but they can always be reach by text - super convenient. oh! and also if you need more hours you can always ask them if someone is in need for a substitute close to your location - also check your email for Behavior Specialists in need of a substitute. Theres always a way to get more hours. Clinical team - the best team you could ever have. always there for any feedback that you might need, clinically and personally - school/classes/ideas/recommendations. Theyre your support system to grow in this field. Don't be afraid to ask, no hesitations, no hidden agendas, always ask, its 2017. Parties: yes we do have parties, like appreciation week, halloween, christmas party, birthdays, spirit week and all sorts of parties your region could think of. Your region is open for ideas, just let them know. I have attempted many times what to say or post as a review regarding about CSD, I have no intention to go back and proofread what I just said because all these are real and authentic. Overall, I would recommend this company for anyone up for a challenge to be part of a family, not a team but a family. Because a family will always have your back, just like CSD.

Cons

-Additional perks for Behavior Specialist -More full time positions for Behavior Specialist -RBT waitlist - I always wonder how could you be on that waitlist, but CSD does have RBT opportunity, i guess i never asked for this one yet. but to anyone reading this, you should ask for this one. - Scholarship or contract for MA/MEd/MS candidates - I always wanted to do sign a contract for some reason CSD should have this opportunity open for anyone interested. -Communication - I talked about pros on communication , but this time I wanted to point out the lack of communication for some people that I worked with. Yes, some people just have lack of communication, if you've taken necessary steps or additional efforts to make your concern and still no response or immediate action. One piece of advice, yes theres people with lack of communication but just like what i said above "be part of a solution", your Regional Director would always have the say for situations like this. -Summer camp -Group sessions - I hope this one could happen on Saturdays or Sundays -More perks for behavior specialists

Pros

I have been working here for less than a year now but I can truly say that this is the first company that I worked for in 10 years that I am actually happy to come in for each day. The team here is wonderful, everyone here is truly trying to make sure they enjoy each day of work. Everyone comes in smiling every morning and the feeling of knowing that you have a very supportive team behind you is awesome. The growth opportunities provided here are great as well. They definitely strive to make sure that everyone here has every opportunity to grow in their career as possible. As long as you come in to work excited to make positive things happen each day and put in the effort needed to be a great employee, you will have no problems being happy and successful here. For me personally, having such a wonderful team behind me makes me want to put in my best effort each day because I do not want to let down all of the great people I work with.

Cons

I am trying to think of a con but I do not have any at the moment...
