Pros

You get a choice of regional global or social skills based BCBA. Company events do occur where they host for fun things bonding/things to do. I loved CSD in my first 4 years of employment since I learned how to be a great clinician it helped me get my supervision hours and I learned how to do all I needed to be a BCBA. I stayed for the people who taught me everything and the clients.

Cons

Billable expectations over quality of care is prioritized. Not always hears when needing help addressing clinical issues or when others are not doing their job so it can feel no one is held accountable.

Thank you for your five years of service and for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear that CSD supported your clinical growth and BCBA journey, and that the relationships and clients made a meaningful impact. We also take your concerns seriously. Quality of care is central to our mission, and we continuously evaluate how we balance clinical standards with operational expectations. Every employee deserves to feel heard, respected, and treated equitably. Please feel free to email me directly at amedina@csd.me if you would like to connect further Sincerely, Armando Luna Medina, VP of Engagement & Diversity

Worse than a startup!

Pros

Remote setup with an outdated laptop and ancient mindset of using all things Microsoft.

Cons

Terrible management. Terrible HR. Management does not care about the well-being of employees and constantly blurring the line between work-life balance. Management lacks the skills to be in management and trickles down the tasks to employees who are not qualified nor compensated for the work.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. I'm genuinely sorry to hear that your experience felt this way. While not every employee's experience will be the same, I believe it's important to listen to concerns, especially when they're difficult to hear. We are committed to learning, growing, and finding ways to better support our employees while continuing to serve our clients and families. Thank you for sharing your perspective. – Armando Luna-Medina VP of Team Engagement & Diversity

Pros

They have a performative neurodiversity board

Cons

Be prepared for a caseload of more than 40 clients while simultaneously supervising 15 to 20 mid-level clinicians who receive little to no formal training or ongoing support related to clinical quality. As a BCBA, your support team typically consists of five to seven people, some of whom are not BACB credentialed, and direct supervision is limited to a single 30 minute meeting each week. Beyond that, you are largely on your own, so you must continually advocate for your support needs. Overall, the culture feels more like a high volume billing operation than an ethical, client centered clinical environment.

Supporting clinicians, maintaining high-quality care, and creating opportunities for professional growth remain priorities for us. We know these areas require ongoing attention, and feedback like yours is an important part of that process. We wish you all the best and thank you for the work you contributed during your time with CSD. – Armando Luna-Medina VP of Team Engagement & Diversity
