Pros

Insurance benefits and working with pts

Cons

Where do I start? Management does not care about it’s employees period... All they care about is making money. Schedules are messed up daily. It’s not the schedulers fault, they are not paid enough for the stress of the job and the job turns over constantly. If pts needs to be covered you are expected to drive sometimes an hour away to cover it however you still have 2 days of paperwork to complete because of the terrible documentation system that was just changed. It now takes even longer than it did before to complete however no pay increases for all of the paperwork time. The paperwork system is redundant and there is alot of information that could easily be populated from a previous visit but isn’t so you have to go searching looking for it. They want you to recert pts but the pay is terrible for something that takes as long as an Oasis SOC. Expectations, pay and distances required to travel and fit in documentation are literally impossible to fit in a 40 hour workweek. It’s a rehab sweatshop and it’s unfortunate. I am surprised the EEOC hasn’t gotten involved regarding labor laws. Kindred figures out a way to write contracts so that they can’t get sued but when you are working you are told you have to do something that would completely be a red flag with labor laws. Expect to work 12 hour days and complete paperwork on the weekend.

Pros

You get a company car at some point. Able to plan your visits for the day.

Cons

They micromange you make you feel as if you aren't a part of the company and that you are valuable. Suppose to only work office hours but they still expect you to do all your visits for the day even if it is late into the night. Then get in trouble for working that late. Right hand don't know what the left hand is doing, no one is on the same page. You will get mixed directions, be the one at fault. There is no work life balance. Be ready to distroy your body doing this job because they want to take on people that they know they shouldn't because all they care about is that bottom dollar not their employees.

Pros

I can’t think of anything positive to say.

Cons

Expect you to do the work of 4 people in 40 hours. Overtime isn’t an option so if you want to get your job done you better work for free or you’ll get replaced. Constant turnover.
