      Successful legacy tests helping millions of infected patients worldwide

      Cons

      Undeserved, crazy number of VP promotions make the company top heavy. MExecutive team has been unable to invent new direction/product line, for the last few years, hence the only thing they are good at is non-stop reorgs/ workforce reductions. Sad to see Cepheid to be reduced to a sustainment company only, without holding responsible the ones who let this failure happen.

      No pros. I wouldn’t recommend working here. Leadership is outdated, and the overall mindset feels misaligned with modern, transparent management.

      Cons

      Leadership operates with low transparency and high control of information. The culture can feel like corporate “spin” designed to keep people in place until the next restructuring. Process accountability is poor: it’s easier to look away than fix what’s broken. The company talks Danaher Business System, but too often it feels like optics instead of execution. Don’t expect real career development. Expect to be treated as headcount, measured by output, and replaced when strategy shifts.
