Pros

- Interesting work - Good team - Friendly culture (in Colorado)

Cons

- Purchasing can take a while to procure your orders (this has improved) - Poor program management resulting in engineers working overtime to try to bring in unrealistic schedules (this does not go well) - Lack of communication on certain teams causes misaligned expectations and frustration - Not very competitive PTO benefits (start with 15 days, after 2 years go up to 20 days per year) - Company does not deposit its 401k contributions until your 2 year mark

Pros

The company is determined to keep a startup culture even as it grows. For me, that means I get to act independently and push my work the way I want to and make decisions I didn't get to at previous places. The tech is really cool and the people on my team are fun to work with. And the business is doing really well so I feel like I'm a part of building something bigger.

Cons

As the company grows it sometimes puts the wrong processes in place that impede the experts from moving quickly and get in the way of the startup culture. It's frustrating and confuses new team members too, but I've seen that it always gets worked out.

Pros

- Exciting hardware is designed and built here - Leadership is receptive to change and working to address team needs (small building etc.) - Most people sit in open seating with no walls, need some adjusting to if you are used to having offices or cubicles

Cons

- Team is rapidly expanding across all sites, growing pains - Broomfield building at full capacity, could really use bigger lab spaces - HQ is in Austin, harder to get ahold of people - Unnecessary slow and cumbersome hardware development process, esp with prototypes. Need to streamline hardware development process. - No flex time, need to show up during core hours every day including Fridays, even if you've already hit 40 hours by Thursday
