Pros
Compensation and benefits were very good. Work is challenging and it is a fast paced company that has a lot of growth potential. Many associates are creative with the ability to think out of the box when needed to either troubleshoot problems or to keep future initiatives on course. Good company to start off a career with to get an introduction into chaotic corporate culture while learning and gaining good experience, but leaving with an appreciation that it is not a healthy environment. Life lesson for future endeavors.
Cons
Management is self-serving. The Executive Leadership Team comes across as always having agendas that conflict within the Internal Business Units and it is about individual goals and objectives. Not entirely focused on the Company. Concept of agreement even with disagreement once the doors are open is not practiced. Most Executives bring back personal opinions to their direct associates that get skewed during the flow down of information. The CEO has many times demonstrated his superiority in passive aggressive mannerisms and sarcastic comments. His disdain for members of his staff is visible and it affects the moral of the ELT members and those same mannerisms have become adopted throughout the company making it a very uncomfortable environment to work in. Lower level associates that actually produce the work that makes Chamberlain successful are not treated fairly. To get ahead and thrive at Chamberlain one must be tough and be able to adapt to a toxic environment where one might have to willingly go against their principles. One can succeed there, but at what cost?
