Pros

I associate working for Chamberlain with a culture of care. We are growing and opportunities for personal and career growth within the organization are abundant. The salary and benefits offered are fair and help me maintain a good work/life balance. I rarely think about looking for opportunities to work elsewhere.

Cons

At times the rate of growth can be challenging for certain individuals who may have to take on a little extra work at times in order to keep things moving forward, but personally I have found the growth to be exciting and have welcomed the job security that comes along with it.

Pros

Consistency with contracts and sessions offered but you can only teach a max of 26 credits a year. once you reach max credit, you can not teach til following year. leaves about 16 weeks of no teaching.

Cons

No pay increase for adjunct faculty. I have been teaching for 5 years and the pay per credit hours has never increased.

Decent pay and benefits adequate. Conveniently located for travel. A fair amount of decent and honorable faculty

Cons

Lots of favoritism and staff hand picked by leaders for internal jobs. Many staff qualified and no interviews even provided to internal candidates. Some staff have no experience and get promoted while others with experience get turned away.
