Good company

Pros

Benefits. Decent pay. Great co-workers. Okay coffee. Decent bathrooms. Horseshoe pits for entertainment. There is a old man that works there. That if you have a chance to talk to him. You’ll feel as you have talked to Gandalf himself. Very wise.

Cons

Communication. Management. And pay could be a little better to compete with competing companies. The plant workers sometimes get shrugged off as if they are clueless, brainless people. They are smart. And driven. Here them out.

Pros

The company benefits packages are good.

Cons

Too many changes to the company this year. Several executive level management changes, facilities being closed, relocation of the Corporate office and acquisitions. Significant turnover of staff.

Thank you for your feedback. We take pride in the compensation and benefits packages that we are able to offer employees and feel that they are competitive within the market, making Chart an employerof choice. Our current uptick in business has resulted in the need for overtime in certain areas. Chart values a work-life balance and while we understand overtime can place temporary strains on this balance, we also feel fortunate to have positive business conditions in New Prague versus a business downturn that has the potential to result in job loss. Each employee situation that arises is unique and we work to provide timely follow up and resolution that balances both the business needs and the personnel involved
