      Great Company with Great Products

      Pros

      Amazing people ~ like a family Hyper focused on offering best in class security Rock solid technology Good work environment, flexible schedule, team effort, focused on the customer and product quality Great leadership that puts employees first - loyalty!

      Cons

      Marketing/ awareness on products could be improved As most companies in the field heavy workloads/odd hours are occasionally a part of the job, but can always depend on my co-workers and management to assist when needed Very broad and deep product base - can cause a steep learning curve Sometimes it is not what you know but who you know for help on things

      Pros

      People - Coworkers both local and abroad. It really was like family. Lateral movement - Do your time in role and there is plenty of opportunities to grow. Pay - This is a mixed bag. You really have to know YOUR value and fight for it. Check Point will pay for good talent. Variable - Understand that you will have to hustle for your commission and don't expect any in year 1, but yr2+ it should stabilize. Tech-Solid tech with light innovation. RSU/Health/ESPP- Performance RSU's are good for retention. Health benefits are good enough/Employee Stock Purchase Plan is a great way to make some extra %

      Cons

      Comp plan - Very open to managers discretion. 50% baseline to hit dollar 1. Territory's and quotas are a mess. Many great reps have been run off? Management - How many VP's has the company been through? How many great people have been run off? Mid/upper mgmt - Frontline managers are great. Unfortunately they are stifled by underwhelming/revolving mid/upper management.

      Pros

      The technology are among the best. I learned a lot during my time here. The managers are all very supportive and want you to succeed and will do everything in their power to help. At the end of the day you get what you put in.

      Cons

      The company is known to be cheap and could use a bit more marketing.
