Pros

New company with a bright future. So far it seems that we are doing a good job drawing from the successes of the old company while doing away with certain systems that were hindering growth.

Cons

Very tight knit organization which can be difficult to work around if you are not from the area or from the company prior to the spinoff

Pros

Flex time, supportive environment dependant on managers of course. Great coworkers as well. I've worked for 3 different groups over 11 years, each of them teaching me different things along the way. Mobility within the company is a good thing and straight forward process.

Cons

The continual erosion of benefits is the biggest negative. Aside from that about the same as other large chemical companies.
