Pros

The company has really good potential with strong base businesses and experienced people / leaders. Also seeing infusion of both young and experienced highly qualified & skilled talent / leadership to help take the company forward.

Cons

Early cost cutting, smaller teams, streamlining teams / work are realities, but can feel like still doing everything with fewer people. Often too many leaders want to be part of decisions - need to clarify & streamline accountability, empower leaders, teams and individuals. Communications & employee engagement - more needed to improve employee understanding & motivation

Employees are disrespected

Pros

Great hardworking coworkers — smart and trying so hard

Cons

Senior management has decided to put employees in tiny cattle pens with no room no privacy and no possibility of personal space. What do they think of us? There is little opportunity for growth, hours and hours of cartoon training on how to be in the company cult — literally cartoons telling people how to act interspersed with senior management telling employees how acting like the cartoon characters is how they have to work. It is so disrespectful and humiliating. We used to have a culture of ethics and and safety and respectful treatment but now are being told the Orange Book (which is the written version of the cartoon) is our culture. While stuffing us into the tiny cubicles senior management is building palatial penthouse offices for themselves. Benefits are being cut over and over, IT is a shambles (phones don’t work and no WiFi!) only the young and healthy are desirable employees and the stock is falling while senior management yammers about how they are adding a pool table to a common area. It has become sad and pathetic and disrespectful.

Good pay bad management

Pros

Good pay is about all you have with Chemours.

Cons

Management doesn't care anything about employees and lies to them daily. Training is pretty much whatever you figure out on you own and infrastructure is falling down around workers. Came to work everyday expecting to be terminated for some reason, very stressful and safety culture is gone.
