Pros

Strong positive values and culture. Large global company offers good opportunities (longer-term). Oil & Gas (principal business) offers broad, complex and interesting challenges to work on. Good company to work for longer-term.

Cons

Large global company that's highly federated. Very slow to get things done, very bureaucratic. Oil & Gas industry downturn currently putting thousands out of work with lay-offs/redundancies and the work environment has currently become a lot more political and negative.

Pros

This company takes Safety as its top priority and surely spends money on it. They invest in ergonomic workstations and have a "Do it safely or not at all" policy.

Cons

Due to its large and diverse workforce in various locations around the world, it can be frustrating to work with other people who do not understand how difficult or time consuming certain work can be. Many of them think that providing [insert whatever] only takes a minute.
