Pros

Not much good to say? The pay I guess is better than most places in this area.

Cons

This is the kind of place you work for if you need a job quickly and your not planning to stay. All the reviews talking about how unhappy workers are at all levels and all locations? It's true it's all true. Almost every is miserable here, people leave left and right and the ones that stay do because they just haven't been able to find a new job that pays better. Let's go over a normal day at Chewy: 1) Come AT LEAST 30 min before you shift starts because, A, You will have to park 3 light years away B. Your computer will take time to start and you'll need to punch in using 3 different applications. C. You will get written up if you are 1 min late 2) You've punched in RING RING RING RING, better grab that phone call quick ( this will go on back to back to back) until the end of your shift. 3) What? Can't hear you, did you say you need a break? haha Check your set break time, you cannot just get up because your head hurts. Also no you cannot eat anything at your desk, put your snacks away. 4) Lunch time! Just gotta punch out and walk to the break room on the other side of the planet.. oh wait 30 min is up. Lunch over. Hope you swallowed that first bite. 5) You need to use the restroom? haha we don't do that here, we'll need to take the time it takes to use the restroom off your break time. k, thanks. 6) End of day? Nope, we need you to stay overtime. Help our customers! Come on want some more cash? NO? okay well Chewy will take you later maybe you'll come in then. Still not interested? We're still going to text you with "funny puns" to try to get you to come in. 7) You've been here for a year and you want a promotion? haha We don't that, but hey, here's a lateral move! Oh you want to go to "corporate" yeah that's still going to be a lateral move. 8)Chewy has now given you anxiety, every time a phone rings you flinch (even when your not at work). You'll cry in your car on the way here and hell, probably while your in the restroom too. All those empty promises in training? It is all a facade.

You will be surrounded by Pet loving coworkers. Good start up perks and thank you cards . Office is in upscale mall

Cons

low work life balance with 60 hours being the norm , will be forced to be on call. Promotions are awarded not on merit but on favoritism. Frequent churn in IT teams due to long hours.
