Good in theory but no longer in practice.
Pros
Interesting, funny, unique, and intelligent employees. I made some amazing friends here.
Cons
They can’t be bothered to make decisions to keep these interesting, funny, unique and intelligent employees. All management pretends everything is ok and nothing is ok. Employees are adults and should be treated thusly— not like little kids that can be lied to and manipulated through fear. Majority of management and leads are children, drunk off having power over others but without any training or responsibilities. Rules change often and are enforced when it’s convenient to upper management when trying to get rid of someone who refuses to drink the koolaid. I’ve witnessed MULTIPLE instances of discrimination— racism, ageism, sexism, and discrimination against people struggling with mental health disorders. Upper management and HR were unwilling or unable (due to lack of professionalism and/or training) to deal with these matters appropriately and with tact. These individuals had to leave because they felt unsafe and unprotected whilst their abusers got to stay on board. Although starting pay is higher than you might see elsewhere— it’s nowhere near enough for the amount of work you are expected to juggle while being micromanaged— down to the second. As much as they try to say otherwise— this is a call center environment through and through and no amount of free pizza and lies will change that fact. What was once a great company to work for is just as crappy as the rest.
