Pros

-decent pay if motivated -great people -good starting point

Cons

-endless amounts of follow up with so many people -terrible benefits -say they believe in people but they sure don't show it -constant changes. Which would be fine if they didn't find a way to screw it up every time they did something. -recently bought out and all they care about is revenue. -terrible base pay

Pros

The great team I worked with and two good bosses I had the privilege of working with.

Cons

The company has changed a lot over the past few years. Most of these changes were the result of being owned by an equity firm. GM's salaries were cut due to a newly implemented bonus structure by the CEO. The locations were now given what they should perform versus what reality is, nor, did any GM have a say in the sales targets or the profit of the location. All of the incentives that used to be available were taken away. Be prepared to work a lot and expect no reward.

Pros

Store environment is very friendly and fun.

Cons

From a management perspective, don't do it. While yes, I agree change is necessary, I also realize that too much change costs the company money. In the three years I have worked for the company they've changed so many things it's hard to keep up with everything. At times I've felt like the kids that come visit are the ones making business decisions. There is almost no consistency in how the company is run, one day you get approval to use some extra hours, the next you're being threatened with write ups for being over on labor. They tell one store to do a process one way and another store to do it a completely different way. There is no structure. Absolutely none.
