      Not what it is cut out to be

      A good place to learn on the job Provides power tools and PPE Can be flexible

      Cons

      Lots of unnecessary hours, usually atleast 50 a week most of the time 60. You will get blamed for not knowing something the supervisor should have told you Safety is way over the top and frustrating Your opinion doesn't matter. You will just be a number. If you're a electrical helper don't expect to work with a Journeyman or Master. They do not follow the license to helper ratio. Notorious for putting you in the apprenticeship so they can help their ratio. Don't hold class for months at a time. Pay is below average.

      It's a job...not much beyond that honestly. hard to say 20 nice words about them when they do the things that they do.

      Cons

      seem to go through a lot of management restructuring leaving people on the street with every regime change. preach safety and do follow through but BEWARE...they will do ANYTHING to keep their job site accident free...including saying you were on vacation and ''stopped by'' the job before you left...this has happened before
