The worst company I’ve ever worked for. Unethical behavior is rampant and upper management turns a blind eye to it. Regional directors steal business and clients from the other segments. When unethical behavior is escalated or proof is provided nothing is ever done to hold those leaders accountable. The regional directors collude with their managers to sweep stuff under the rug. When leadership is asked a direct question about these issues they will never give a straight answer. Lines of business fight against each other because the segmentation rules are not enforced. It’s impossible to do business here which has resulted in a mass exodus from all wealth platforms. The technology is terrible.

Pros

Citizens is a demanding, fast-paced environment. There has never been a shortage of work but Citizens and its management has always cared about its employees. At Citizens, people matter - colleagues, customers and communities. The company does not just talk about work/life balance - it supports it.

Cons

Of course in my 25 years at Citizens there have been ups and downs but I have never considered leaving. I cannot think of a con worth mentioning.
