Pros

The hours are awesome. The pay is an actual livable wage and then some. The training is so thorough and there’s so many resources for any possible questions. I really went into my position with no prior banking experience feeling well equipped for the job and the customers I would deal with and experience. The team I work with are supportive and talented and have been a pinnacle part of my experience.

Cons

The cons would be the very long time between starting the job and “starting the job.” While yes, having such a long and thorough training experience was beneficial, there were forgotten lessons because I never applied them until the situation arose. The other con would be having to fight for your revenue. Which affects my take home pay. With today’s technology and the company’s technology I would think they could keep track of it better.

They pay well and prefer to promote from within. When you are on a team it is like a family.

Cons

There are a lot of politics and high school type drama.

Management was terrible and any career advancement that was available wasn’t possible because managers were never thinking about the big picture
