Pros

Promote within, benefits, good bonus if you meet goals

Cons

Goals are sometimes hard to meet, they expect too much calling, a lot of conference calls, bankers spend more time running teller than anything else, will terminate you for any small thing

A hot mess

Pros

Good health insurance and PTO/benefits package

Cons

Few people at this company take professionalism seriously, and it shows. While they claim to care about the customer, the main message sent to employees is to get on the board with sales daily, even if you have to railroad a customer. I would start to feel sick as the clock ticked toward closing time, if I didn't have enough sales or customer migrations for the day. My manager spent most of her day in her office texting her boyfriend rather than dealing with customer issues or managing the branch. She expected us to work 8-10 hour days with no uninterrupted break and offered me 2 bereavement days when a family member died, even though company policy allows for up to 5. Constant turnover from the bottom all the way to regional and upper management means that there's no accountability for anyone. The company finds loopholes to reduce or withhold bonuses from employees. If you're in an in-store, you'll be working every Sunday, too! If you are a professional looking to work with others who have it together, avoid this place like the plague.

Pros

technology is much better than the smaller banks

Cons

Highly stressful work environment. Big sales expectations but no focus on taking care of existing customers or on providing good customer service in general. All management cares about are sales.
