Pros

Quite literally no pros. Only cons.

Cons

Abysmal professionalism or lack there of. The performative CEO role is embarrassing and poorly represents this startup. He is truly a narcissist. Additionally, I know how much he makes monthly, and how he financially screws the business and his employees by not offering basic benefits like healthcare and dental. I’m unsure of how the other employees hold their heads up working in such a toxic environment. Secondarily, there are so many resources online offered by tech nonprofits that teach many programming languages. This constructed educational hierarchy is bound to fail because of its unsustainable business idea. Look elsewhere for employment.

After reading this comment and similar comments you have written in the last few months and have continued to provide investigative details in response. We work very hard to support our employees and wish you success in your career and life. You have made comments Pros : " Pros Quite literally no pros. Only cons." Fortunately according to Course report and Switchup, we are one of the top 40 most successful bootcamps in America and top 50 in the world. " You continue to provide personal attack on the CEO, who I believe you have hated so much. I am not sure how I have offended you or what we can do to atone for this attacks. With regards to health insurance : We provide Medical, Dental and vision insurance, 9 paid sick and personal day, two weeks of paid vacation, 6 national paid holidays and flexibility with our employees needs. We have kuerig coffee, tea and a snack bar. We do so many events, so we eat alot of food. And soon we will be moving into our new head quarters at 4356 Lindell bld. We have a great team of mission minded people. You also commented " Advice to Management No advice, this business is bound to fail." In 2020 during Covid-19, when many organizations closed down, laid people off and lost revenue, our company, Claim Academy ; * Grew 63% in 2020 over 2019 * Named one of the best 40 bootcamps in the United States and top 50 in worldwide by course report and Switchup. * Approved for a special U.S Department of Veterans Affairs program ( VETEC ) * Bought a new building from a local university in St Louis for close to a Million dollars as the new headquarters. * And so far this year June 8, we have grown 87% over 2020. * Just signed a multiyear multimillion dollar partnership with Harris Stowe State University * We are now expanding to military installations. I've had the pleasure of working at Claim Academy for over 1 year, and it has been an exceptional experience. The work environment is both productive and enjoyable, fostering a collaborative spirit and prioritizing work-life balance. The company culture is marked by inclusivity, diversity, and a commitment to respect, creating a positive and innovative workplace. While my experience at Claim Academy has been overwhelmingly positive, it's fair to acknowledge a few areas for improvement. Pros

Claim Academy is a wonderful company to work for -- especially the overall atmosphere of positivity and attention to what matters. Since Claim is a small business/start-up, there is plenty of room to grow and develop your career. It is up to each employee to manage their career -- the more involved and dedicated you are, the farther you will go; you definitely get what you put into it. Claim employees do fun and interesting things together, such as having a themed celebration once a month for all employees. The hiring process was easy - and seemed mostly focused on a positive attitude, commitment to quality and motivation to succeed; Claim has encountered issues with previous employees who lacked in those areas. Management and executive leadership welcome employees' suggestions, input, and ideas to contribute to the overall good. The weekly EOS meeting puts a focus on communication and personal accountability; each of us sharing obstacles, issues and ideas to come to better solutions. My fellow team members have been wonderful in helping me get set up and trained, the CEO has been supportive and present throughout the entire process. I look forward to making a full career at Claim Academy by achieving the expectations put on me, staying accountable for my actions, and being able to take direction for my own improvement.

Cons

Claim is not the right place for anyone who can not take responsibility for their own actions and consequences. Under-achievers and those who can not live up to their commitments will find it hard to fit in at Claim. Claim is business-focused, always wanting to provide the very best education for our students. This is not the right place for whiners, lazy people or those who get their feelings hurt by being given direction or negative feedback. Hardworking folks with the maturity to learn from their mistakes will find it a refreshing change from corporate anonymity; the owner and staff genuinely care about one another and the success of the company.

Those out to only serve themselves will not fit in at Claim." After going through a difficult time hiring some people who are not mission minded and not a fit for our fast moving startup culture, we have since changed our hiring process to involve video resumes, personality test, written and also including our team members in the process of hiring
