Pros

Positive Sales Culture Base Pay + Commission and Great Benefits like unlimited PTO! Remote (before I got layed off) Amazing Culture Fun SKO Events Supportive Leadership Unicorn Status 🦄 When they do lay you off they give you a month to find something else and pay you severance so that was nice.

Cons

Capped Commision ( I was told it was uncapped when I was onboarded) Private Equity= “This year we have to pay back our investors” quoted by leadership at SKO. Paying back our investors meant cutting majority of the sales org and outsourcing the inside sales team for sales reps in Brazil 🇧🇷 . Obrigado ClassPass. I would be cautious of applying for a role here, although they phrased field sales as their new outreach strategy I feel that’s only a temporary fix for a sinking ship. However if you do land a role here please keep your options open.

Pros

ClassPass is really good at hiring Genuinely good people. I had a great experience with just about every person I worked with in the bast 2 years. Decent Benefits. Wellness Days.

Cons

There are a lot of inconsistentencies and as many others have said the pay is low for the industry. If you don't hit your full quota- commision is almost non existant. $200 for over 20 something completed meetings is less than motivating. When I was hired I was sold on the low wage due to the position being entry level and obtainable quotas. As time has gone on the quota and role expectations are much less obtainable. The manager will encourage you to "just lie if you have to" to get the meeting and to work off the clock (unpaid) to hit her quota. Even if you are too far away to even get paid she will still try to guilt trip you into helping her hit her quota... unpaid- off the clock and no commision. What everyone else says about very few people answering the phone in certain overworked teritories is 100% true.
